Co-Parenting Arrangements

We are all familiar with the emotional pain associated with contested custody cases; we see these cases frequently in the media. Most of us question the effect on the child. The Collaborative Law process is uniquely focused on the needs of the children. By utilizing a neutral child specialist and working with the clients to focus on interests rather than positions, the clients are more likely to create a co-parenting plan that is satisfactory to all and decreases the level of conflict for the child.

"Although both parties were fully and adequately represented, everyone worked in a team-like concept. The goal was to achieve a separation, not to use the process to play out emotional retaliations."
